Mahalo!! Thanks Benz, I was racking my brain trying to figure out a cool piece for that show, and the idea just kinda came to me, Although it is actually an evolution from a painting i did years ago,and have revisited in a few paintings since.

there's so much to say about all the different stuff in that series of pics I wouldn't know where to begin.

I have long been a fan of the look of wood grain...but I gotta tell ya, LOVE the colors!

Some of the newer pigment stains allow both color and still show the grain. Unlike flourescent colored chalk I saw today on a "tiki" in Florida. Ouch!
