I could have sworn there was a thread discussing this magazine already, but I'll be damned if the search engine can find it.
I just finished reading the two-part article in The Modern Drunkard magazine on The Great Drunk about Jackie Gleason. I swear I got all misty-eyed when Sinatra gave him that Caddie. Gleason is my new hero. I need a drink.

I'm a big fan of "The Great One". I recommend the book How Sweet It Is by James Bacon, the authorized biography that came out in 1985 and is out of print but should be easy to find used.
