Ok, this may be premature for some people, but there are those that really do need to plan ahead of time, soooooo....
Will a New Year's Celebration be happening at The Tropics again? Seems to me that everyone had a great time. See this thread for last years celebration reviews & pics.
December 31st is on a Saturday night this year!

Last years celebration was Casey's idea. Once he realized that more than a couple people were going, he added the entertainment that helped make it a wonderful event. We could all show up, but it would be better if someone would act as a "promoter" and plan a real event. Any takers?

I have to say that it was one of my favorite all time TC gatherings. Easy relaxed, everyone knew everyone. It was like a big house party at a themed hotel.
For me much of it will depend on if they offer the super competitive room rates that were offered last year.
I think it was something like $60 p night.
Nobody was drinking and driving.
Just drinking and bear humping..... but I dont think thats against the law.

Oddly, I picked up a medium sized bear at an antique store in Lodi yesterday (not sure why, but it may have had something to do with the heat, a miserable experience at a federal court, and visiting some dead relatives). But, I have been unable to verify its sex.
I'm happy to put a wig on it and bring it for you though.
