The portable CD players sounds (ha ha) like a good idea. I shall bring my "Sounds of Taboo Cove" cd.  We'll be at the Hyatt Embarcadero @ 6:20pm. A mini-van type cab would be excellent. We are five, six?
Anything else we need? I was thinking of my digital camera, but we want pictures, right? So I won't. We just saw Otto on Food Network last night too...what a co-inc-idence.
$1 Mai-Tais here we come! Happy Centennial to Vic as well...  !!!

Well, I'm finally back in So Cal sitting at my workstation. I had a great time in the Bay Area. I finally got to great the Lanai Tiki at aquarj's schwaaank pad. That is one big MF!
Trader Vic's 100th birthday bash in Emeryville was a blast. Special thanks to Martiki6 for organizing the event. The Trader Vic's 100th birthday party hats were a nice touch! Emeryville was celebrating Vic's Centennial along with us and handed out "Trader Vic's Mai Tai Team" racing banners from a marathon they sponsored. Very cool - it was the best thing I got from my trip!!!
Scoured about a dozen thrifts in and around the bay area during my stay and found a few TV mugs for only $3.50 each plus some Coco Joe's stuff, Tiki Hut shakers and a large Treasure Craft pineapple bowl. Score!
BTW - Congrats to Team Midnite for winning the trivia game!
Mike, when are we going to see those pics? Post em soon!
