'The Tahitian' Coconut Mug tikipedia Tiki Socialite Joined: Aug 25, 2004 Posts: 488 From: San Diego Posted: 2005-08-11 1:14 pm   Permalink I started a thread a while back, asking about four mysterious coconut mugs that I picked up. It turns out that they were from The Tahitian. Those mugs appeared to be part of a set, with only one of the four mugs actually marked 'The Tahitian'. Lo and behold, yesterday, I found another set of four coconut mugs, also from The Tahitian. Of these four mugs, only one was stamped 'The Tahitian' on the bottom... just like the first set that I picked up. In my original post, Cool Manchu mentioned picking up a couple of coconut mugs, one of which was stamped 'The Tahitian'. So, my obvious question is: Did the Tahitian sell mugs in a set, and only stamped one with their name on it? _________________ The Tikipedia www.tikipedia.com
