Since 2003, we have done unique
tours to Discover Secret San Diego
We are planning an Open Air Double Decker Bus Tour to see San Diego's Finest Tiki Sights, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 26th, from 2pm - 5pm. The tour
will begin and end at the Bali Hai on Shelter Island, where there is plenty of free parking. You can drink on this London Style Open Air Bus (BYOB). We will make several stops in the Downtown, Beach and Bay Areas.
Cost $34.99 Call 619 917 6037 to make a reservation
NOTE- We will need 15 people to do the tour. Please call by November 19th. Space on the top deck is also limited so call today to get in on these adventures in paradise!

WooHooo! That sounds like so much fun. Unfortunately, it is right after Thanksgiving. A lot of people, including myself, will be out of town  If you do another tour make sure you post it on Tiki Central

Will there be special rates at Humphrey's Half Moon Inn?
Can the itenerary be disclosed or can you indicate whether we can actually go inside?
Are A-frame structures part of the tour?

Sounds like a great time!! I'm in and I heard rumor that Humphrey's is giving a discounted rate on rooms.

Mention Doubledecker Tiki Bus Tour
Hotel is right across the street from Bali Hai where
the bus departs on Saturday. There is free parking for hotel guests.
Bali Hai also has free parking if you are not staying at the hotel.
The route is still being put together. It will include the hot spots on Shelter Island, the new tiki spots downtown
( Mr Tiki Mai Lounge & the quirky & colorful Spa Tiki),
the Catamaran Hotel and other off the beaten path tiki/aloha stuff in Pacific Beach. We will also take you to the famous suspension bridge near Balboa Park. The bridge is 377 feet long and connects a spectacular canyon.

Is this tour connected to Marc Menkin's Tiki Bike Tour?
Edit: Duh! I just noticed your name in the first post. Folks, Marc Menkin & his lovely wahine Darlynne Reyes are very knowledgeable local SD Tikiphiles who have been running Tiki themed bike & walking tours around here for a number of years. Marc has been supporting & showing off the local Tiki scene, as well as being a collector & carver himself.
