The hotel was actually stupid for not letting Swank webcast from there.
It could have had an audience outside the walls but instead they wanted to squeeze an extra buck out of Hukilau.
I'm not a big fan of the...corporate...y'know.
But at least James Tidalwave ©2005Waitiki, taught the bartenders how to make some decent drinks. I had 3 Zombies. Not Mai Kai quality but good nonetheless.
And they had FRESH MINT!
So all was not lost.
That 3 stooges cover is the new Crazed Mugs CD: My Mug Collection.
Now on rotation at the fabulous Mai Kai.

And yes, Rev., I'm acheiving "waif" status and am down to XXXL now.
Only another year... or so, to go.

Sorry everybody. Last year there were several wide open networks to choose from in the ballroom, this year someone got smart and locked it down. They wanted $150 a day to access! It would have been cool. Next year it'll be up though. I think if every vendor chips in $5 to be able to use PayPal to let customers make payments, we can also then have the webcam live all the time and get two good things out of one. I'll work on that. And by then Pablus may have lost another 50-75 pounds...

Those Waitiki boys made me feel young again.... no one has called me 'tidal wave' since I was about 9 years old.
I am going to write up the astounding and sordid tale of how it came to pass that the drinks attained a level of quality that both Pablus and The Jab approved... stay tuned!
