Please check this guy out. From my IMac I cannot figure out how to upload photos from Sutterfly. This Tiki is at least, 30 years old, solid wood. It is blue as you see. I swear I saw this when I was a kid, but I don't remember where?
I got it at an Antique store in Scottsdale, and the old guy could not remember where he got it. Please help me find the key to the Tiki's mysterious origins. Please click the links below to reveal many images of this very blue tiki.

Perfect Spermy...I have attached all the other photos, but I am techno-ignorant and cannot get the images to show.
I appreciate any help and info I can get.

By the way, it is 38.5 inches tall, and 24 inches in diameter at its widest point. The detail are finely carved or milled. It is the first wooden Tiki I have bought.

I was visiting friends in Phoenix last May and saw this tiki in that antique store. I bought a lot of stuff there but couldn't afford this guy. Here's the pic I took on my camera phone. Glad he's found a good home!

T'is a good one, though I am afraid I can't say much more about origin, period or carver. By the style of it I would say it is nouveaux Tiki revival, but then it has marks and dents that make it appear more vintage. Can you tell by the wood how old it might be? Anybody does carbon dating here?

Big Bro & Juno:

This Tiki actually came from Scottsdale, as opposed to Phoenix. from your photo, Juno..it appears quite unlike the place I bought it..who knows.
The wood is definitely not new, and the piece is worn over many years. Like I stated, the old gent who had it has had it since the 70's. I thought it could have been from The Islands in Phoenix when it closed, or another Tiki bar in the area. At the base, there appears to be a makers mark, which looks like a wave, riptide, or weird g.

I believe it could also be from Mexico, as I have seen carved totems down there that resemble the teeth cuts.

It is a well made item, however. I believe it was anchored as their are bolt holes in the bottom. Any help to solve the mysterious blue tiki would be very appreciated.
