Aloha.......

Thanks to Smogbreather for the cd and the heads up from Ken. Has a cool surf/spy/exotica vibe. Listen and buy here:

I am listening to it right now...who can resist the disarming straightforwardness of an album entitled " TIKI POP- by Kenny Sasaki and the Tiki Boys". Those wild and crazy Japanese!

This, his second album, seems less esoteric/ambient-like than the first, Tiki Moon, and comes across as more easily accessible Exotica/Surf sounding mood muzak, perfect for your Tiki Bar.

And I like the creative cover design in the "whatever-Tiki-thing-you-can-get-your-hands-on-wherever-you
-are"(here: in Japan) style, proving that in Tiki, spirit matters just as much as location and deep e-bay pockets.

I loved the spooky otherworldliness of the first disc, I'm sure I'll dig this one also.

Anybody ever see these guys live???

This is spectacular, the perfect mix of surf and exotica.
I'm so in a beachchair on a beach with a drink in my hand..in my mind.

I have got to get this.
