Hey everyone!

I know there is a thread in "beyond tiki" that talks about the Martinis and Mistletoe CD, but I wanted to tell everyone about this CD set I saw in a catalog last week.

It's from the company: Collectors Choice Music (
www.ccmusic.com ) The catalog has this listed:

Quote:
Martinis and Mistletoe / Holiday Dinner / The Gift
3 cd's of cool music for holiday entertaining. Martinis and Mistletoe is jazzy, Dinner is smooth, and The Gift is a sultry flavor. Performed by the Yuletide Lounge band, these vocal and instrumental tracks take you back to the swank swinging '60's 3Cd set NOW $19.88
The catalog item number is DKLAS187892.

I checked the website last week and it was listed, but I just checked and nothing is coming up in their list. I don't know if they have sold out or what but if you want to order over the phone or inquire if they are still available you can call them at: 1-800-923-1122

They have an excellent selection of music, especially x-mas. Including a Don Ho x-mas album (Item #DKCCM02342)

I ordered mine, even though I had the Martinis and Mistletoe. It never hurts to have 2 handy.

Well That was depressing! I visited the site only to get no response to my search for the CD. Of course, while I was there I also learned that RL Burnside died in September! Dang! Where have I been?

Yeah I learned the same way. I'm so happy i got to meet him and hear him play in his only Dallas gig. Truly a talented man. I've got an ass-pocket full of whiskey for him when we meet again.

Did you try calling the number i listed above? I haven't got the chance to yet. I'm at work so I don't have the time to "tie up the phone line". Glad we have DSL.
