It's that season again...and your head feels like a corked bottle...I have to go with the Navy Grog... Who else has a special prescription?

My mom's grog :
- Dark Martinique's rum
- Lemon juice
- Hot Water
- Honey (as much as you like)
I love it, I can't wait to be sick again !!!

I like the simple hot apple cider with rum. One of them should be spiced for flavor.

Try mine:
1 tablet "Airborne" fizzy drink (Orange or Lime flavor) in fresh spring water...
A "healthy dollop" of Bacardi 151 Rum

1 shot of Nyquil (I like Cherry)
1 8oz glass of OJ

Best tropical drink for a cold:
One fifth of good rum
One warm woolen blanket
One space heater
Fire up the space heater on high, down the rum until you are only barely able to wrap yourself in the blanket. Pass out. Sweat. Repeat until disease free.

Ok all you PC police go away for a moment.. I used to love TOm and Jerry. I cant stand them now.. They have butchered it, no longer is the "Mammy" Mammy... all of her vocal tracs have been replaced by what sounds to be Oprah, or someone else... worst off is it wasnt even a convincing edit.. music stops, "Mammy" speaks music picks back up..

ahhh yes politcal correctenss ruins a chilhood institution.

Now back to your regularly scheduled cold remedy..
I prefer whiskey in tea with honey and lemon juice... served pipping hot.. make sure you have someone to bring these to you.. wouldnt want to get burnt...
