Kelp is back from an extended retreat in the deep south pacific and is now looking for a bass player (electric or stand up) We rehearse in Long Beach (California) and play an eclectic mix of instrumental original and obscure hawaiian / surf covers. sorry to be the one to break the news,
There is already a surf band from Santa Barbara called Kelp.
They've been around for more than 10 years.

Its ok no bubble bursts here, thats not our name, Pussycow was the band name and KELP was our second release in 2000. Didnt know about those guys, but heck theres two DOA's, Mr. Mr. Miyaga's and a million other bands. Were now off in a new direction and need a bass player. Thanks for the bump!

Aha gotcha on the name mix up.
your sound , sounds interesting, I'd like ot hear it, do you have any links to mp3's or anythhing on a web site?
I'm into surf and exotica, and play bass,
have you found a bass player yet??
