yeehaw!
I LOVE these!
This is my x-mas gift to myself.
I've been coveting these, but could not find them on the local retail scene.
Then they show up in bulk on ebay.

Yes my brother bought it in TOkyo for me as a gift. I think I am going to paint ths sides brown though as the green kinda clashes with my decor.
Oh, I can see my kids on the Antique ROadshow in 2030 - "Well, if your mother hadn't painted this exquisite example of tiki memorabilia brown, it would have been worth 10,000 dollars. As it stands now, it's worth about $7.50. Teddibly sorry!"

Holy crap that was quick!
I got mine today.
They even sent it gift wrapped.
I opened it in front of my pal Mary today. I could tell by the look in her eyes that she fell in love with it, so I gave it to her for an early x-mas gift.
I owned it for about 30 seconds!
It is very cool, but kind of too heavy for it to stand up like in the picture.
The moai is like heavy plaster & the box is plastic.
it was cool enough that I'm still going to order another one.
