Giant Koa Bowl |

I found this giant, very solid "21/2 by 21/2 foot" Koa bowl at the Menehune Magic Green Waste Dump. It weighs about 150 pounds and was termite damaged on 2 sides, which I then sanded down and carved. Gonna be our coffee table. Menehune Magic takes green waste from Oahu residents and then turns it into soil. But they supply me with lots of great palms etc. I scour the place at least once a week.
(I'm glad that this is the one that didn't away!)
