I'll be there on Valentines Day, at the Birchmere.
Burlesque is fun, but even more enhanced when it is the Fisherman providing live music.

Now that was a fun night - definitely the most entertaining Valentines Day I have ever had. Two hours of solid acts and fun and striptease and bad jokes and more striptease, all with live music by the Fisherman and his group, and the evening went by so quickly. Trixie Little and the Evil Hate Monkey even did their full tiki volcano act, which is always a treat to see.
This show's lineup was quite solid, and I never felt bored at all, and the two hours went by very quickly
On a related matter, The Baltimore Sun yesterday ran an article about 'Burlesque Boot Camp,' a short course where Trixie Little taught the basics of Burlesque to a few female class participants, ages ranging from the 20's to the 50's, all culminating in an actual live stage performance.
Teaser line from the start of the story .....
'Her cat ate her pasties.'
To read the fullstory, enter 'Burlesque Boot Camp' in google news, and it should be up there at top. (I couldn't get the link to work here)

Okonkulu Tikidrummer & FXO -
Saw you folks last night at TT The Bear's ... great show & nice leopard print FEZs! Thanks for the CD, I've listened already - you guys got some pretty funny lyrics and tiki-centric sounds. I'll get one of ours (WAITIKI's "Charred Mammal Flesh: Exotic Music for BBQ") out to you this week.
Thanks for coming up to Boston and sharing your spirits with us - hopefully we'll make it down to NYC sometime soon too.
Okonkuluku,
Da Professah Humming Flowah
