"Located on Lake Road #6, Grove Oklahoma
Grand Lake O' The Cherokees"
At least, that's what the post card says. Couldn't find anything about this place in "search." Is this Moai still there??

That's a beautiful Moai, Silverline.
I've never seen that postcard before. I would be interested too in knowing if the moai is still there.
Does it actually have the words "Tiki Point" in the postcard description? If so, I know I'll be destined to pay top dollar for it on eBay.
Thanks for posting that.
Sabu

Here's the flip side. I should have posted this in the first place, but I figured since there was no date or postmark it wouldn't provide much info. Appears to have never been mailed.

Update:
Received the following reply from the Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Public Relations Director:
"I was informed by our Lake Patrol that this monument still exists
and is located in the Courthouse Hollow area on Grand Lake which is off the
arm of Honey Creek by Grove. It is rumored that this use to be an old
nudist colony. I hope this information helps and you visit Grand Lake soon."
Well, I think a road trip may be in order!

Well that's just very cool. How does a big guy like that hide from everyone for so long? Great find. You just stepped up a notch in the urban archeologist rankings!

I have posted an update to this story in the other 'Tiki Point' thread.
