I came up with this little fella the other day. Due to its simplicity and standard ingredients, I'm sure there must be another drink out there with this recipe. Does it look familliar to anyone? At any rate, I'm in love with it:
1.5 oz. Cockspur Rum (or another barbados gold)
1 oz. Orange Juice
3/4 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
1/2 oz. Orange Curacao
1/4 oz. Simple Syrup
Shake with crushed ice and pour into cocktail glass.
So, did I accidentally plagarize some other drink?

That drink looks pretty good if you like orange juice.
If you put in coconut rum and pineapple juice it would be a "Miehana" that drink they invented for the god of the orange groves mug. (I love that drink)
If you want the recipe, it is in Beachbum Berrys Grog Log.
(It is actually in his second book Intoxica)
I think you can get the mug from Tiki Farm.
P.S. If you put your drink into this mug, I do not think it would defile the tiki god of the orange groves.

Ah, yes. I know the Meihana. Explains why I thought to call it "the orange grove," eh?
"1/2 way between anaheim and a daquiri" I may call it instead.

I really enjoyed your version of the recipe Melintur, it's clean & crisp, not too sweet. It does well without the coconut flavoured stuff.

I love low acid OJ! That's what I use too.
