I just got this Trader Vic coffee grog mug and am curious to know if it is a vintage piece or a new one... It's a bit more narrow than other ones I've seen and has a rough glaze like the old suffering bastard. Here is a link to it on Tikiroom.

Any info would be cool...

That's the mug I have. I describe it here, in a post made earlier today(bottom of page):

Trader Vic Headhunter

...ahhh, the coincidences.

It's vintage. The ones used now are usually glazed, and have a "rounder" looking face. The one going for, gulp, $355, is more detailed than yours/mine. Then again, I paid $11.

My mug, as your appears to also, has "USA" and "Trader Vic" imprinted on its edge.
