Has anyone made one of these? They went over quite well:
1-2 shots of Cruzan coconut rum
1-2 shots of Smirnoff vanilla vodka
1/2 oz lime juice
2 oz pineapple juice
graham cracker crumbs on rim of mug

The new Trader Vic's Tiki Party book has a recipe for key lime tarts.
I made them for a party and they were very popular.(quite tangy!)

Wow, this drink recipe looks like fun. I don't get the pineapple juice though. Just not the right taste even associated with the traditional "Key Lime Pie". Hmm...
Is there a liquid/alcohol substitute for condensed milk? That more like the right pie flavoring.

I like Cruzan in general, but I would recommend almost any other brand of coconut rum before theirs.

That sounds great. Thanks for the recipe. Gonna have to try one this weekend. I think there's still room in the bar for YET ANOTHER bottle of something I'll use for only one type of drink.

This is how I heard to make them:
Key Lime Shooter
1 oz Liquer 43
0.5 oz light rum
1 oz Sours mix
0.25 oz Roses lime juice
0.5 oz Half and Half
Shake over ice and pour into shots
They serve these at Jimmy Buffetts Margaritaville.
