What I do doesn't compare to the true artists that post here (too many to list) but I thought I would post something from an average joe.
This is what my own minature Easter Island looks like from the road. The big guy is about 30" or so and was purchased at Marshall's of all places. The others I cast from an old string of maoi lights that were previously used on our patio.

Some have your traditional tiki torch, this little dude has gone solar.

Clever idea, they look like they're peeking out at us through the ravages of time. More plants would make your pseudo ruin look even more authentic.
