This CD was a blast to work on "wit muh homies." (so to speak)
We gave it a very hard edge and fairly vintage sound on the guitars.
The drums and bass are a little more rounded out for today's Ultra Stereophonic systems and less for AM radio.
Which means basically a lot less compression than the old days.
Kanekila's steel addition to the traditional sound is a real touch of genius and help sets this CD apart from any other surf CD you've ever heard.
(No I don't get commission, I just like it.)
When we take the stage together at Hukilau it will start as a gentle off-shore breeze and build into a full scale typhoon.
I predict Josh will spontaneously combust all over the 3 front tables.
