To everyone in the NY/NJ/PA/CT, etc. area who would like to come: Rugbymatt, my husband and myself are planning to get together at Lee's Hawaiian Islander in Lyndhurst, NJ for dinner and boozing on Saturday, August 26 and we'd love to have others join us. We had a great time last night at Leee's Hawaiian Islander in Lyndhurst, NJ. Anbody who gets near the New York metro area needs to check out this hidden gem! Talk about old school... I think the whole staff are the orginal owner and his posse. Props to Bob the bartender who cranked plenty 'o tasty polynesian beverages. Great pu-pu platter as well as plenty of awesome Chinese and Polynesian fare.

Thanks for posting those! We had an absolute blast and second everything Rugbymatt said. And, as a bonus for New Yorkers without cars, it's an easy walk from the Lyndhurst train station. I'm looking forward to returning soon.
