The website says it's invitation only.

Did anybody go to the 1-year anniversary party at Adrift last night? Can you post a few photos if you took them? There isn't anything on Facebook yet. I had to work and couldn't make it, and I want to live vicariously through other peoples' good times!

The place was packed and the joint was jumping.
The mugs sold out quickly and the raffle mugs raised $361 for Foothills Animal Shelter.
It was a very good time.

I emailed an R.S.V.P (per the website) and asked a few questions about the event, but haven't heard anything back. That was 10 days ago. Is anybody out there affiliated with Tiki Fest, or know anything about it? Where it is, who is putting it on, etc? It looks like a fun time!

Tiki-Fest looks like an exclusive event. It appears unless you're already invited, you're not going to be invited.

I wouldn't call it an exclusive event more like a high school clique. I went 2 years ago to a supposed open party they were having and spent about an hour and a half standing around with no one even saying hello to me.
About the facebook group I am the one that runs it.
Sadly I started it as an open group and people were joining in and spamming the other members with all kinds of trash so I had to shut it down to an invite only site.
Anyone can join facebook and use it as it was intended you don't have to let it consume your life.....

Our party - Tiki Fest - is open to anyone in the tiki tribe.
Scott - sorry you had a bad experience, but as the host and bartender I am stuck behind the bar most of the night and can't personally greet every single person that walks through the door. Also, this party is not just for tiki folks but for our friends and family as well, so I hope you can understand the nature of the event.
I apologize about the RSVP function on the site - it's not working. If you'd like to come email me at rsvp@tiki-fest.com and I'll send directions your way.
Cheers,
Erin Behrenhausen, aka "tikibeeyatch"
