I love them but don't know who made them or where they were or when.

There's a homemade version of the mug pictured on page 61 of Tiki Quest. There's also a candle holder in the same design on page 161.
Not a lot of info, but that's all I could find.

I'm thinking "homemade" as in: buy the green ware at your local ceramic store. Take it home and paint it. Bring it back and have it fired.
