i've entered Trader in the Rose City Classic Dog Shows.. so we'll be in town for 4 days. when the judging schedule is published, i'll know my schedule better, but certainly we'll be done by 6 each evening
i'd love to meet up at the Alibi and Thatch.
geez. yes.. JAN 19-21, i'll be in portland.. doh!

Please let me know, because man oh man, I've been dreaming of going to Maine when it's lobster season.
Oh, how I long to try my first lobster roll, with all that lovely butter and.... mmmmmmmmmmmmm
crap, now I'm all hungry!!!

Fresh lobster is caught all year in Maine, but the most prolific months are August-October. That means the price goes down.
October is a fantastic time to visit, what with the leaves changing and all.

The Pacific City Bird and Blues Festival starts down here the day after the dog show. No tikis but plenty of open beaches for dogs to run around like crazy.

just nerves, this is Trader Pup's first AKC Dog Shows and im freaking out.. nothing a Captain's Platter at Alibi can't cure..

well, the Trader Pup isnt winning, but we're having fun in the Rose City..
stopped by Thatch on Saturday night, and absolutely ADORE this place.
its Sunday, and we're both "dog tired" so i think we'll save a trip to Alibi for next time.
however, i WILL get to voodoo donuts tomorrow for a bacon maple bar before heading back to Rain City.
