These are truly beautiful mugs. It looks like the Dorothy Kindell/California Art-Pottery collectors are rabid about them. Based the prices they are fetching, would that make these mugs worthy of "holy grail" status?
Why haven't I heard of these before?

Kindell did some great work. She made cigarette boxes with a hula girl on top that are amazing. Never seen one on Ebay garner less than $400 or so.
I do like her stuff, but not sure if they can attain vaunted grail designation. A Kindell "Siam" girl ws the fist thing I ever sold on Ebay, did I give someone a deal...buy now for $80, DOH!

...but they would not qualify as Tiki holy grail, since they are HAWAIIANA, not TIKI.
