Here is a new one with an old element. I sold my other painting that featured the tattoo'ed skull, so I decided to do another one with the skull as the focus. So here is "Skull study"
8 x 10, Acrylics on stretched canvas
Cheers!

Here is another one I did for a customer who really liked the other Ukulele painting, "number 29" but has the smaller Tiki Flea Ukulele.
Thanks for looking!

TK, I had missed this thread of your work earlier. Great stills, I love the imaginative use of assorted props like the dirk and switchblade. The tattoo'd skulls are cool and you've really capture the glaze and dew on the mugs too.

So in my other life, I tour around the country with a Celtic band, The Wicked Tinkers,
( http:www.wickedtinkers.com)
running the sound board, and filling in on drums occasionally. Everyone knows me as Tiki King, and oddly enough I actually sell a fair number of Tiki's at these Scottish events. Part of the Kilt outfit is a small knife you wear in your sock called a "Sgian Dubh" (pronounced "skeen-doo") which is Gaelic for "Black Knife".
Here is a typical Sgian Dubh.
I decided I needed something a bit more "me", so here is my new Tiki Sgian Dubh.
unsheathed,
And then here I am with no pants on...
you can just barely see the Sgian Dubh in my left sock.
Slainte!

Holy Shit! The Wicked Tinkers!?!?! I LOVE you guys! Got a couple CDs. Caught you twice at the Highland Games in Vista.
For those who don't know them, I describe them as a 12th century Led Zeppelin! Loud and rockin on bagpipes and drums!
Cool knife, BTW.
Will you be vending at Oasis?

Yep, I was at both Vista and Vegas this year. In Vegas, after the show on Fremont st., we went out to Frankies Tiki Room in our Kilts. It was a blast! stayed there till 4 am, which made the next day a little brutal.
Oh, and yes, I'll be vending at Oasis. See ya'll there!
