So I ordered the remote control fire pit burner from Yardiac, its on the way, Should be here any day.
I also ordered some fireglass from American Specialty Glass.... and here are some pics for reference.
I ordered three 1lb bags of #3 sized fireglass in Red, Orange and Yellow. 
here is the box the 3 bags came in (iPod and keys for size reference

a quick pic of the future site of Mt. Ubangee. It will go between the iris' in front and the ice cream banana in the back.
The tiki, Saul the Benevolent, will get moved to a new spot to the left between the other group of iris' and the bamboo.
