Hi,
My band, The Sand Devils, will be playing at the Huntington Beach Pier Plaza June 3. We normally don't venture out of SD county, so here's a chance to catch a performance. It's free, BTW.
The show runs 11 Am – 5 Pm.
Here's the lineup:
Deep Sea & Guests Travis & Marcus Barton
Insect Surfers
The Sand Devils from San Diego
Surf Kings
Abdel Kineche, Shadows medley solo
Detonators with Abdel Kineche as Guest
The pier is located on Pacific Coast Highway at Main.
There is an all day lot right next to the pier venue & stage. Enter at 6th & PCH. If you get there before 11 AM, you should be able to get a spot. It's about $10 to park all day. There is another lot at First & PCH on the other side of the pier. $10 all day. Of course, there might be free parking in the area.

Im all over that, like there was a question about it 
If you get there late, or are a cheap bastard like me.
You can just go inland about 4 or more blocks and park in the neighborhood, and walk. its not that far, unless your carrying alot of stuff.
Hope to see lots of TC people there.

The Boardwalkers are playing in place of the Insect Surfers,
they have chosen to play the August pier show.

That's bogus the Whatchamawhosits are playing instead of the Insect Surfers, but whatever...musicians are a flakey lot.
Who's this Abdel Kineche guy? Is he any good?

We're playing July 6th at thw Whistle Stop withe The Pyronauts...come 2 days earlier.

The Boardwalkers have been around for a long time. It depends what in they're mood for - sometimes they play trad covers, sometime they play progressive originals.
Abdel is a great player, he does his owen versions of Shadows songs, and some other stuff.
