Hey there- I was in Home Depot Garden Center today and noticed that they had Oak 1/2 barrels for sale. (Only about 10 of them)
Upon closer inspection I noticed that they were dreamily oozing a delicious bourbon smell. I was a bit shocked that I can smell good Bourbon at 20 paces, but I went up to them and flipped them over--totally charred interior! Closer inspection show them to be authentic Jim Beam barrels. Each is 1/2 of a 50 gallon barrel, about 50 lbs each.

Price: $20!!

Now I have priced used barrels before for a number of reasons, but $20 for the real deal is INSANELY good! They won't last a weekend.

We have full wine barrels. As in empty but not cut in half.
The bees love it! Plus it bleads wine for years.
