what kind of info are you looking for? it's produced by jac holzman. released by elektra in 1959. check mr brand's official website right here, and maybe, send him a note telling him what a righteous cover he's got

Aloha, I have most of my LP's listed on my website. Click on the "Vintage LP Gallery!" tab at the top of the page. It's a cool way to view some great vintage Hawaiian, Exotica and Island related LP's
Enjoy!

Thanks twitch. Found the box of other 78s.
These next two "books" are from MGM Records, founded in 1946. Found them filled. No MGM records and only one Hawaiian 78.
As one could imagine, many MGM recordings were movie soundtracks.

A local record store went out of business and most of this Yma Sumac collection came from that.
Here is an interesting one. Early Yma on Coral. This record was sent from Canada as per the letter below. Does anyone else have this 10"? This copy says pressed in Canada with a sleeve printed in the U.S. There is an article from 1987 taped to the sleeve.
A letter that came with the record
A postcard with an article taped to it.

Bump - I'll be posting more finds from the record store as I sort through them. Many were not relevant to tiki so I may post those over in Beyond.

Thanx for putting them in tiki finds
I seem to get crap for doing it.
But they are Tiki Finds right.
Plus I got a lot of PMs telling me to keep posting
them in tiki finds.
Funny.
Thanx,
Good stuff...
