Hi Gang. I'm pretty new to this board, but I'm starting a backyard project( http://www.tikiroom.com/tikicentral/bb/viewtopic.php?topic=24592&forum=18&0 ) . I am planning to carve a few tikis to populate the place. I've done a lot of wood carving in the past when I lived on the east coast, and in LA, but I have no idea where to get palm logs for tikis, here in the Phoenix AZ area.
I know palms grow here, but I don't know who would be the best to contact to get logs. Any ideas?

I would look under "Tree Services" in the yellow pages and start calling around, telling them what you want.
That's what I do.
