Shalom Boychiks and Maydeles,
Shecky Shekels here to let you know that Meshugga Mel and the whole mishpochah are returning to the homeland (of surf music) to share a little San Franshishki shmaltz with all our southern neighbors. We've got 3 shows lined up:
7/27 Purple Orchid w/Chum 10:00pm
7/28 Bar Leucadian w/Zombie Surf Camp 9:30pm
7/29 HBISM parking lot. 1pm
We'll nosh, we'll drink a bissel Manischewitz, Kine Ahora! it'll be a wonderful time. You'll kvell when you tell your bubbelahs that you saw the Meshugga Beach Party on their first Southern Californian tour.
Glossary
Boychiks - boys
Maydeles - girls
Kvell - beam with pride
Kine Ahora - There should be no evil eye
Mishpochah - extended family
San Franshishki - did you see the Frisco Kid with Gene Wilder?
Shmaltz - rendered chicken fat also corny, sentimental shtick
Shtick - a funny act, often involving costumes and characters
bissell - little bit
bubbalehs - darlings
Shalom - Aloha
Meshugga - A little crazy (roll your finger near your head)
Manischewitz - very, very sweet Passover wine, you should drink Thunderbird?

Hey all you TC people that dig surf, you gotta see these guys/gal live.
Fri at the Purple Orchid Tiki Bar.
Sat. In Leucadia near San Diego,
and
Sun. at the Huntington Beach surfing Museum 1 to 3 pm Free.
buy a cd and t-shirt too, I'm sure if you ask you can get a discount,

They played at my brother's bris.
It probably wasn't a good idea for me to request "wipe out" during the procedure though.

If you haven't seen Himmelman, I HIGHLY suggest this!! You will laugh your ass off!! This guy is like watching someone perform while on an acid trip. He gets the whole audience involved in the show and it's usually standing room only. He'll have you laughing so hard you'll fall out of your chair. He's coming to "The Mint" Aug 21st.
