Finally made it to Trader Dicks for the first time earlier this year. Wonderfully dark tropical atmosphere to eat and drink in. That aquarium is indeed awesome when you think about the highway pillars inside of it. I would have never known while I was sitting there looking at it, but ran into Martin Cate who shared that bit of trivia with me...certainly makes the tank that much more mesmerizing.
Food was great. I had a few drinks including the Back Scratcher which was good. Had to order the flaming Volcano...looked cool, but much too sweet for me so i couldn't finish it. I did buy the bowl and a couple of other mugs, the girl did a nice job of wrapping them up for me...the service there was very good.
Definitely ready to stay at The Nugget again, just so I can spend the night at Trader Dicks.
