Well here i am .... first time poster and new member BUFFBAD. My first Tiki was carved many years ago as a teen and went on to grace my dorm room and later at my first home on the front porch. After 30 odd years of standing guard on the front porch the condition of the Tiki worsened and "FRED" was sent off to the landfill. Recently the neighbors across the street put in a new pool with an awesome TIKI hut/bar built in. That was the spark to get the carving bug back in gear and I started to carve a Tiki as a gift to decorate the new pool. Well i think the carving bug is back because i am already planning for Tiki #3. Will post a pic of the new pool Tiki. Thanks for the cool forum and great idea/info source for the Tiki carving hobby.
