Aloha fellow TC'ers! It's been about a year since my last attempt but I wanted to share some pictures of my second Tiki carving.......I'm kinda proud of this fellow.
I wanted this Tiki to have an older feel about him.......
Big Ma halo to all the really talented carvers here on Tiki Central for inspiring this novice to carve away on my weekends!

Nice one tikinomad, he has a very ancient feel about him so it looks as if you were very sucessful. Way to go.
The only problem I see is that you should be carving 12 times as much. 1 a month ? Welcome back to carving, glad to see you working more.

Thanks Clarita, Surfintiki and Benzart!
He is about 2 feet tall by 10 inches wide.
I really dig carving and want to create more but work and my 4 year old son eat up most of my free time
I'd like to carve a Tiki based on the Trader Mort's design next but I don't know where to go for good carving wood in my area........
