DON'T MISS IT! Nov. 24-25 at one of Florida's original old roadside attractions - Sunken Gardens in St. Petersburg, FLA. The Florida Show, exhibitors of vintage Floridiana, plus the original Florida Highwaymen Artists. "The Culture of Aloha Shirts" will be presented on Saturday, Nov. 24th at 12 noon, by Dr. Gary Moss. Gary's collection of vintage Aloha shirts was featured in the American Texile Museum's exhibit, and his collection was the photo basis for the Schiffer Book on Hawaiian Shirts. Great lecture on all aspects of collecting Aloha wear. Then on Sunday, "Take a Textile Trip Back in Time...to the Era of Barkcloth" by the King of Barkcloth, Brian Walsh. And as usual, our great vendors selling old Floridiana (with ALWAYS some vintage Tiki in there!) and the Highwaymen artists. Films on both days as well.
