For years music has been derided on web sites, but recently I've been seeing more music being played - myspace is mainstream of course, but also now on many tiki sites. www.thehukilau.com was an example I visited today.

Perhaps I'm just getting older and my opinions have changed, but I love it. As long as the user has the ability to turn it off quickly, I think it can add to the experience. I'm thinking of adding some tiki and hot-rod related music to www.royaltiki.com. (as well as tiki, I'm a huge fan of bands like Go Cat Go)

What do you all here think of music playing automatically on websites?
