Over the holidays, my dad (inspired by Sven's books) decided not to cut down the dead Queen palm in his yard, but to have it carved into a tiki.

He hired a local artist to sketch up a design...

...and as of last weekend, a new Tiki was born!

Her name's Britany. She is a student at the Laguna Art college. This is her first tiki.
