Hello all.
I am starting an amazing slendiferous Post.
Starring.... ME
I am going to start carving tiki and thought it would be a good idea to record what i do, from no experience at all, to a (hopefully) better carver.
Any comments, ideas, tips etc. would be nice!
Tane

I think i will be carving stone (and eventually jade/greenstone/pounamu) and bone.
At the moment i am looking at some diamond burrs for stone and some ideas on how to carve bone.
Oh yeah, I have a dremel imitation ill be using to carve.
Can't wait to get home and get started!!!

Hey mate, welcome! Always good to see more antipodeans on here Check out creating tiki a lot - there are some awesome artists on here, who provide plenty of inspiration and feedback. Tama and Paipo are the resident stone gurus, and you'll get plenty of help from them - and they're kiwis too!
