Today!
the 15th annual Ukulele Festival of Northern California
I'll be there with my little grass shack,
I'll have stickers, Tiki's, Ukuleles...
Come on by and say hi!
For Ukulele players and afficiandos it is a great chance to meet other players and collectors as well as try out a ton of Ukuleles, new, used, custom and vintage, from $20 to $2000. Plus you get to meet some of the builders, like Tony Graziano, the Kamaka's, Mike DaSilva, Peter Hurney, and more!
If you are not a Ukulele nut, there is still a whole day of
Hawaiiana, Hawaiian food and snacks, vintage aloha shirts, (sometimes Tiki Mugs) and other neat stuffs!
See you there!

This is a fantastic event. If you play the uke you can't miss this event. Continuous live music is played throughout in the multipurpose room of the school. And outside in the courtyard there are a bunch of loose jam sessions happening. Surrounded by them are the booths selling uke, music, and other crafts. If you are homesick for Hawaii or just love the culture you should definately check it out. You would swear you were back on the islands with all the local folk eating grindz from the snack bar. Plate lunch is served, and plenty malasadas will be consumed. Buy your t shirt early if you want one because they sold out last time. I had a blast last year and will definitely be back.
I will be wearing a blue Primo aloha shirt. Come up an say hi if you see me walking around!

Oh I forgot, Tikiking sold me a sweet UKE sticker in the style of the old import stickers put on cars shipped from europe. Check out his booth.
