If I wanted tacos I'd go across the street to Taco Surf.
but I do Love the Kona Burger there.

IN...Kona is really doing a good job. Some of my reviews of SamsII were less than favorable but the latest incarnation is going all out to maintain an island feel with the menu, service and ambiance.
There is also a Tuesday Special.

FYI.... Taco Tuesday is Family Friendly. Kids are permitted in the Outrigger Lounge until 10:00pm. Taco Buffet is $5 per person

Dayum...I will have to check the time out a little better. I was there with Ray and Tina from 5-6:30 for happy hour. Just missed it by THAT much.

Yeah...The happy hour has great pupu and drink specials from 4-7pm. The $5 all-you-can-eat taco fest starts at 7pm. Tacos were good. Rice and beans didn't disappoint! Guac, Cheese, Salsa, Onions, Lettuce and Tomato were all available! The manager even gave us TC'ers the drinks at happy hour prices ALL NIGHT!!! They want and appreciate our business!

Yes sir. looks like a good time at Kona and believe you me, nothing says "HAWAII" like a good taco! But all you guys better be there on Friday for the real deal complete with a generous helping of Tikiyaki sauce.
Actually, now that I think about it, nothing says Hawaii quite like SPAM!
