David and I went to the Roy's Hawaiian outside Palm Springs and enjoyed a stellar
meal and drinks! It's a swanky night out.
I could cry, their Hawaiian Style Tuna Poke with a Sake Vodka Martini Shooter was so tasty!!!
We'd love to try the NYC Roy's downtown in the financial district.
We could always do drinks and appetizers....
Any interest?

When I get next week's work schedule, maybe I'll post a proposed date.

Next week is a little busy for us, but we'd love to do drinks and appetizers sometime.

The food looks amazing - but can one get a tropical drink there?
Anyway, YES, Margie and I are in for this! This weekend we have concerts Friday and Saturday, though...
AND let's not forget - we've been discussing a full-tilt Tiki Road Trip to one of the local haunts! Shall it be Lee's Hawaiian Islander, King Yum, Jade Island, Chan's Dragon Inn....?
Chime in and let us know! (Maybe I should post a separate thread...?)

My personal favorite is Jade Island, but they all rock.

Just FYI, Roy's is participating in the NYC Restaurant Week, meaning you can get a 3 course prix-fixe for $35, not including tip or drinks.
July 21-25 and July 28- Aug 1, 2008

Now, that's a great tip-off! Let's do it during one of those two weeks! I will post a proposed date as soon
as I have a work schedule and folks are back from Tales of the Cocktail!

I prefer the food at Lee's or Chan's, and no ferry ride necessary!

Lee's has the best interior and is the least expensive. Chan's has slightly better cocktails. Now there's a conundrum ofr you!
