don't know the name, but did he work for Disney in the 50's and 60's?
it looks familiar to some of the images they had in Tomorrowland back then.

Nope, and if nobody comes even close I'll give out some hints to you knuckleheads.

I heard it changed its name to some kind of non tiki Hawiian family type thing.

oh by the way,
Not only will JonPaul be selling the new tiki magazine,
he will be playing bass with the Boardwalkers, AND the Insect Surfers that day.

He will also be part of a super group of surf people (Jam)
also in the Jam will be Ran(aka Kick the Reverb)inventor of the Reverb Crash drink) Norm, the drummer of the Ghastly Ones, who is playing at Tiki oasis, this year. and Danny(aka Shecky Sheckles of the Meshuggah Beach party)
who plays every so often at the Forbidden Island bar in Alameda(Nor. Cal.)

this is going to be worth seeing alone.

I'm confused, I thought Paul Weller was in The Jam? And by worth seeing alone, do you mean all by yourself?

It doesn't matter, cause obviously you guys don't know who did the painting!!!!!

Should I move the contest to GROG's Tonga Hut thread????

Well, being that this thread is currently getting an average of 43 views a day (mostly from Bigtikidude), and the Tonga Hut thread is getting an average of 267 views a day, there's a better chance that more people will actually see your contest on the Tonga Hut thread. Plus, you'd be helping promote some of your fellow Tiki artists, rather than bumping up a music event that only a handful of people are interested in.

funny I always thought musicians were considered artists too.
at least I do.
I can live without art,
I can't live without music.
but thats just me,
I'd rather see a band, than go buy a mug.

by the way, for what its worth,
this show is noon to 7 pm,
so you can do this and the art show at the Tonga Hut.

no conflict at all if your a fast driver.
