I was bumping around the internetz and found this artist from Costa Mesa. His name is Matt Kotch. I did a search here on TC and nothing came up so I posted this up. He is somewhere between Wyland and Clysdale. Anyone heard of him?

llt, good info. Just another reason why I should get by the Freakout show and check things out. Matts paintings have expressions on tikis that you don't see everyday.

Matt is a good friend...considers himself more of a fish and monster painter, but he is an amazing talent, so i am stoked to see the post. i will let him know that he should do more damn tiki art!
