Making Lava Rock cheekytiki Tiki Socialite Joined: Mar 09, 2004 Posts: 1088 From: The Haole Hut, London, UK Posted: 2008-09-09 10:12 am   Permalink I'm not sure if anybody has done this before, but I have just found out by mistake what I think is a really cool way to make realistic looking lava stones/rocks. Whilst building a wall the other day we threw some broken AAC blocks into our cement mixer to clean it out after using it. When we went to remove them they had turned into nicely rounded rocks, now we are using them for a feature. OK uou might need a cement mixer to do this but they are cheap to hire , it's really quick to do (20 mins) and looks fantastic.
