Has anyone in here made this drink at home ?
Me, Marty Lush and Joe Banks mixed some up and, man, oh man, T A S T Y !
I guess this was conceived at the Polynesian Village Resort at Walt Disney World.
I dare you to taste the alcohol in there....my kinda drink.
Here's the recipe if you don't have it.
3 ounces Guava nectar
1 1/2 ounces unsweetened pineapple juice
3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
1/4 ounce rock candy syrup
2 1/2 ounces coconut rum (Cruzan or Malibu)
Put in shaker with cushed ice, shake it up...serve in your favorite Tiki Mug ( I went for the Fu Manchu on this particular occasion) and enjoy.

It's a main staple at Forbidden Island. Works great as a pre-made punch for parties, too.

This cocktail has bee a favorite in my home bar for years. The ladies love them in a coconut mug with fresh mint and a purple orchid for garnish. They love to take pics of them even before the first sip
