Check this thread for pics. Beautiful work by Ben and the other incredible artists. I'm especially in love with the chairs!

Thanks Koitiki!
Here are some pictures of the chairs just before delivery to Frankie's:
They're getting some cushions for them soon.

No shit, huh? I still consider myself a noob, but having a piece in an esablishment that's an "official" tiki joint sort of gives you a sense of validation. If the place lasts longer than most of the casinos do, when we're dead and gone, our kids will be showing our grandkids what grandpa did.
And Danny, you should have heard the jokes flying when I was carving that thing.....especially when I was shaping the tip of the squid.

Buzzy! Those chairs are really great! I especially like the three-tone one. I didn't get to appreciate them fully at the party on 12/2, mainly because it was dark in there... AND everyone's butts were firmly planted in them! Nice to see them in their full glory. But I did enjoy meeting you. -- Kari from Tiki Magazine.

Just wondering if all the artists involved with Frankie's documented all their work that went into the place.
Would be great if a book was put together about what Frankie's was prior to and how it ended up as such a fantastic tiki establishment.
Just a thought

I only took 1 pic the entire month I was there.
Here it is.
Titled; Monkey in a Mulberry Tree!
But.....
Moss took about 89,000 pics.
Mrs. Boo took a bunch...
......and the Monkey has a few too!
...Of Frankies being built.
I'm sure all the other artists involved also took pics of their art being created.
Hope you all enjoy it in real time, when you can.

Ooh yes! I can't be the only one who won't be able to make it out there for a while and would love a closer look at the pieces. Anyone feel like posting progress and/or final shots of your work before installation?
Thanks for yours Buzzy.

... the Tapa in the background Suited it's purpose!
I'll try to get some of the old frankies pics before the transformation.

From the small pic of Horne's work, it looks like Buzzy, Ruzic and C'Al at the table. BBen, can you PM me where the tapa came from for most of the wall and if you made it, could to say what material you created the pattern on?
