Originally this was just a Bongwater Cocktail without the "stuff" that makes it look like bongwater. I changed it to set it apart from that one, so it is different than the recipe I sent in for the Forbidden Island cocktail contest. Served for the first time at our friends The Sperm Whale & Whale Rider's winter wonderland party....
1 1/2 oz Orange Juice (fresh squeezed)
1 1/2 oz Lemon Juice (fresh squeezed)
1/2 oz Orgeat
1/2 oz Orange Liqueur -Citronge (or Clement Creole Shrubb, or Cointreau -all of these are 80 proof)
1 1/2 oz Cruzan Estate Light Rum (or Meyers Platinum White Rum)
1 1/2 oz Rhum Barbancourt Reserve Speciale 8 year Old Rum
*****5 Drops Angostura Bitters*****
shake with ice
1/2 oz (or more) Lemon Hart 151 Demerara Rum
Garnish with fresh Mint & Orange slice
Add palm tree swizzle & straw (to dunk some float to the bottom before each taste)
Happy Holidaze from the California Gold Coast
*****Edited to add the bitters, I thought I was forgetting something*****
