On Sunday, Jan 4th a group of us are going to Damon's for brunch at 11a.m., then going to enjoy the last day of the exhibit "In Search of Tiki" over at Forest Lawn Glendale. I spoke to Damon's and they're more than happy to accommodate a large party.
If you haven't seen the exhibit, it's really worth checking out before it's gone. If you have seen...time to see it again.
Come join us...what say you?

I'll be there for sure.
After the exhibit we can always go back to either Damon's for some cocktails,
or come back to my house for drinks.
I live minutes away.
I'm really sad to see this awsome exhibit close.

I told Damon's to expect at least twenty of us, so no need to make reservations. If we start to get a really giant group, I'll let her know. Should be fun.

I seem to be the only still going to the other event. Hmm. I'll put in a vote for Saturday too. I just went to the Art show and Damon's last night. Both are awesome. Would love to go again if it was Saturday... but I have a date with a cocktail Sunday. Saturday hitting Damon's, the Gallery, then Tiki-Ti would be an awesome bermuda triangle to get lost in.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!!
I have been in touch with Douglas Nason and he is going to be at the
Exhibit on Sunday 4th , 3 pm , with drinks and dinner at Damon's after.
I hope that you are all able to attend.
Doug is such an awsome person. I met him at the exhibit during the Tiki workshop.
Please bring your friends and family to the closing day party.
Here is the e-mail I received from Douglas Nason:
"The In Search of Tiki exhibition will close on Sunday January 4th. This
exhibition will close with an informal walk-through presentation with
curators Douglas Nason and Jeff Fox at 3 PM. Participating artists and other
tiki aficionados' are encouraged to attend and share their thoughts on
their
work and the tiki art movement. When the museum doors close at 5 PM, we will
move on to the famous Polynesian themed Damon’s Steakhouse and celebrate
with further discussion and fun! Dinner and drinks are on your own"
